On 21 April, the “Mantinga charity and support fund” together with Marijampolė City Municipality organized the biggest event to promote youth entrepreneurship in the Marijampolė region – EXPO 2023 of Marijampolė regional educational companies.

The event is special in that it is attended by 9-12 grade students, they present their own established companies, they create and manage a business throughout the year, they go through all possible business stages – from company establishment, marketing steps to product production and trade or service provision. Invaluable experience that provides real and extremely important foundations for building a future business.

This year was a record year – as many as 43 young companies, a total of about 185 schoolchildren, participated in the competition.

In the first part of the event, the representatives of the young companies were busy at the fair, communicating with customers and members of the commission. Later, the competition awards took place, the companies of the year were awarded various nominations: the most national MMB, the most socially responsible MMB, the most original business idea, the most financially literate MMB, the most promising business idea, etc.

The first place in the competition went to the company “Mellow Toy”, which was also awarded a ticket to the next stage of the competition – the national EXPO of young companies.
